It was a cool, breezy, cloudy day but nice enough to have our lesson with Luce in her out door arena.
There was five riding, four students and Luce. Our five rider claims that his horse wouldn't go in the trailer, a HORSE always goes in the trailer, he must have meant that he was going to ride a mule!! Doug was equine-less, but the rest of us who rode, all got something out of our time with Luce, and we are looking forward to next Sunday.
Luce has a great eye to recognize what needs to be worked on, for both the horse and rider. It takes an experienced person to instruct four riders, and be able to give suggestions and guidance on all the different issues.
Penny and I were not able stay till the end of the second lesson, so I hope those that were riding in the second time slot, got as much out of their first experience with a new instructor as we did.
Thank you Doug for this great idea, and organizing the group lessons. Hope you can get your horse in the trailer for next weekend.
Happy Riding Everyone!!
